  As a Drilling Engineering Trainee;  I acquired relevant skills in courses undertaken during my training as a Drilling Engineer with Schlumberger NEXT in France, some of which are; Drillstring and Casing design, Cementing, Geomechanics, Directional Drilling, Drilling Optimization, Well Control, Logging, Fishing Operation, Well Intervention, Workovers and Completions.  I have rig awareness on a demonstration rig in Petroleum Training Institute(PTI) Warri, Nigeria for 11weeks.  I have been exposed to Schlumberger softwares such as Techlog for drilling jobs and CemCade for cementing jobs and Petrel for reservoir development and well design planning and Drilling Office (DMT) in the execution of my well design project.  As my project and assessement, I was involved in carrying out a drilling simulation and well construction job from start to finish, acquiring data needed for drilling decision to designing plans for field development. Solving problems encountered while drilling such as; loss circulation (use of LCM), well control (Use of Wait and Weight Method), twist off, bit wear and pipe sticking problems (Fishing).  I worked under pressure in the design and planning of drilling oil well on paper (DWOP) in a vibrant team of seven engineers as a project for successful Drilling Engineering Training with NEXT Schlumberger.  I wrote a drilling program as part of my task in my project team and had it peer reviewed.  I possess IADC WellCAP (International Association of Drilling Contractors: Well Control Accreditation Program) Certified Supervisor Level.  I have 160 CEU (continuing Education Unit)study time while undergoing the drilling engineering course.
