  EcoACTIVE is an environmental education charity with a hands-on, practical and fun approach to exploring complex issues of sustainability. We work with schools and the wider community to develop their understanding of the world around them and give people the skills they need to make a difference. As an Education Officer, I plan and deliver educational programmes, working in partnership with statutory bodies, education providers and local community groups. I promote positive and sustainable behaviour changes and inspire young people’s participation in decision-making in order to benefit the local and wider environment. I participate in strategy planning, contribute to fundraising, managing and evaluating funded programmes, and work with session workers and volunteers. I am also the voice for ecoACTIVE's digital communications and social media.
