Under the direction of the Board of Trustees, I am accountable for the performance, management, development, and sustainability of the SU (Students’ Union). I have lead responsibility for the development of strategy, objectives and services in order to meet the needs of the membership and other key stakeholders. I strive to culture of collaboration, compassion and support where staff feel valued and motivated, sharing a vision for the future ensuring that the organisation understands and can deliver on its strategic priorities. I have oversight of the development of effective governance, supporting and coaching the full time Sabbatical Officers and Trustee Board. I have lead responsibility for ensuring that the elected leadership are empowered as key decision makers and that the staff team share the vision and the purpose of the SU.
