      Working as a Senior Manager for a charity which is connected to 119 YMCA's globally. Locally in Essex, I manage a team who support around 500 young people (aged 2-25) and families per week through a variety of Youth Work styles including, but not limited to; Family support, detached, universal and targeted youth work/ groups, alternative education and Holiday Hunger programmes. As part of my role, I am responsible for a number of key elements within project management such as; recruitment, HR, project budgeting, line managing staff, supervisions, policies and procedures, safeguarding, collecting quantitative and qualitative data, writing reports, risk assessments, contracts, bids writing, networking, inputs/ outputs/ outcome focused data, program development, behaviour management, curriculum programmes. I am passionate about being a positive role model to others, motivating the team around me, inspiring young people and being creative in finding solutions to tackle issues that young people today are facing.       Supporting the inclusion of pupils aged 7-11 with SEN, emotional and behavioural needs in a mainstream Junior school. Teaching maths, literacy and social skills to a small group of children in a 'Teaching and Learning Centre' ran by myself and one other colleague, overseen by the Headteacher. Supporting young people whilst they waited for spaces to become available in Special Education Schools, Local Authority run residential schools and for those who found it challenging to be in the classroom all day. Leading on Team Around the Family meetings, One Plan and EHCP meetings ensuring that the pupils had everything they needed to access education and thrive in school and in their wider community.
