Interviewing and assessing service users with personality disorder.Administering, scoring, interpreting psychometric tests such as the HCR-20 and WAIS assessment. Treatment Care planning. Group therapy programme, planning and delivering OTT (Orientation to Therapy) sessions to patients. This 12 week programme is designed to provide newly admitted patients with the experience of being in a therapy group, knowledge about their personality disorder diagnosis, the therapeutic community model and to help them learn and develop skills necessary for giving and receiving feedback. Therapeutic community training: group psychotherapy theory and application of concepts (such as universality and instillation of hope) to large groups. I have seen how different psychological theories are applied to understand group processes and facilitate and impede therapeutic progress. Show less
