Capacity Development Advisor at VVOB Vietnam January 2017 - current As Capacity Development Advisor, I provide advice and guidance on capacity development and change management to the operational partners of the 2017-2021 Early Education Programme . Those partners include: the Department of Teachers and Educational Administrators (DTEA), provincial Departments of Education and Training (DOET), district Bureaus of Education and Training (BOET). The Programme (2017-2021) is funded by the Belgian Federal Government (DGD). It aims at improving the quality and equity of the Vietnamese early education system through strengthening in-service training for teachers and systems of school leadership. The emphasis of the programme is Process-Oriented Child Monitoring and School-based/Needs-based Teacher Professional Development. Capacity Development Advisor at VVOB Vietnam July 2014 - December 2016 The partners: DTEA, DOET, BOET, Teacher Training Institutes (TTI), the National and provincial Women Union (NWU, PWU). Funding came from the Belgian Federal Government (DGD). The programme aimed at improving the quality and equity of the Vietnamese early education system through strengthening in-service training and pre-service training for teachers and systems of school leadership. The emphasis was on Active Teaching and Learning (ATL) and the transition from early childhood education to primary education. Capacity Development Advisor at VVOB Vietnam July 2014 - December 2015 The partners: DTEA, DOET, BOET, , NWU, PWU. The Programme (2011-2015) was funded by the Belgian Federal Government (DGD). The programme aimed at improving the relevance, quality and equity of the Vietnamese career guidance system in secondary education and popularizing a student-centred and gender-sensitive Career Guidance approach for secondary students in Vietnam.
