During the 2020 soccer season, I returned to my high school to coach Year 4 Girls Soccer. As the team’s only coach, I was independently responsible for planning and implementing training activities to improve their skills. When travelling to and from different venues, I was accountable for the team’s safety and ensuring the school was represented positively. I was required to take on a position where I umpired competitive games and dealt with those displaying poor sportsmanship. In Grade 12, I travelled to Winton for 10 days alongside a team of my peers. There, we assisted the local farmers repair their properties after they were damaged by floods. This experience instilled in me an appreciation for the hard work and resilience demonstrated by our regional communities. In Grade 12, I travelled to Winton for 10 days alongside a team of my peers.
