Bio
Sarah Connors
I had the pleasure of working with Sarah during her time as Director of Education at Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art. Sarah was a breath of fresh air at the museum, with a positive attitude and great energy. She quickly began to make a difference with the students in our programs, engaging them with the exhibitions and making a lasting impression. Sarah was also incredibly organized and took practical approaches to help the museum meet best practices in various areas that were in desperate need of it. It was refreshing to work with someone with as much experience as Sarah has in a professional museum setting.

Sarah supervised me during a 9-month internship at Dia: Beacon. She has been an incredibly supportive supervisor who cares about her interns, takes their opinion seriously, and allows them to grow. I have learned a lot, and deeply, when working with Sarah. She has been welcoming, warm, and enthusiastic about new projects. Over the course of the year, she nourished my passion for the work and guided me to take on more tasks. Everyone I know who has worked with Sarah at Dia loved the experience. Sarah cares a lot about her work and her team, and her leadership style inspires those she is in charge of to give their best. Any museum department would be lucky to have Sarah as a member - she will make her coworkers and visitors thrive.
