Colorado Area Manager
-
Feb 2021 - Present
As the Area Manager I direct, lead, and inspire a group of extremely talented people. But it’s not just juggling people management, it’s also client management, and problem solving. Starting in 2021 I was awarded the opportunity to build something I’ve been working towards for more than a decade. Within months the creation and execution of opening a brick-and-mortar location in Colorado was complete. Within the first year we have also expanded the Colorado Market into New Mexico and Minnesota with more on the horizon. Eric L. Davis Engineering is a sizable Engineering company that has been growing for the past 20 years to over 185 employees at the start of 2022. ELD Colorado is now at 15 strong, with Professional Engineers, EITs, designers, field crews, and administration delivering engineering services such as structural, survey, and civil. I take great pride in my staff as they are the greatest asset, they inspire my innovation, and they drive me forward. Nationwide, ELD has a 15-year plus club with several original members either still employed with us or comfortably retired. I am also here to further support our 15-year plus clients, so they are still partying with us 15 years from now. I plan to execute this plan with, not only the backing of an incredible 185-person company, but also my lifelong experience in construction that started as soon as I could hold a hammer, a design degree that included business classes from an accredited program from the CIDQ, continued education in management, my broad professional experience, and last but not least, my love for construction! My plans and vision for the future are already expanding like cumulus clouds across the mid-west. Every problem is an opportunity and understanding that problem is half the solution. Flexibility is key in any market. Construction, Engineering, efficiency, building, dirt, and power tools are all part of this incredible role I get to live each day.
