Sydney, Australia On moving from the UK to Australia in 2004, I founded Modabode with Paul Lucas to develop and manufacture prefabricated modular homes. The e-BODE concept was selected to participate in the Houses of the Future exhibition and a prototype was installed on the forecourt of the Sydney Opera House in October 2004. There was much public interest in prefabrication and over 120,000 people visited the exhibition, which later moved to the Sydney Olympic Park. Barcelona Area, Spain During the 'year out' that is encouraged between degree and diploma for British architecture students I moved to Barcelona to gain some work experience and learn Spanish. Barcelona was a design hotspot after large Olympic developments and some enlightened public space projects had caught the attention of the architecture world. At Bofill's Taller I worked presentation drawings for new urban plans before studying at the University as an Eramus student.
