  My main responsibilities include the undertaking of building maintenance inspections, compiling of subsequent reports and actioning works according to priority and budgetary constraints.During my time with RFCA I have also had the opportunity to undertake minor refurbishment projects, injured service personnel home adaptations and be involved in some new build projects from conception to completion.As part of my role in RFCA I have had to produce project documentation, schedules of work, survey reports, tender analysis reports and scaled drawings as well as monitor progress of projects on site and liaise with external and internal regulatory authorities.

  My main responsibilities were to advise landlords on their legal responsibilities to their tenants in regards to fire precautions, property management and property fitness and repair.As part of this role I undertook housing inspections, producing schedules of repair, schedules of fire precautions and serving Statutory notices on Landlords as necessary under the various Housing Acts.Whilst employed at Cardiff Council I also ran a scheme called Accreditation Plus which was set up to encourage Landlords to bring their properties up to a higher standard than the minimum legal requirement.
