  I am mostly a surgical nurse. I caluclate and administer medications in preparation for surgery. I induce and intubate patients for surgery. I prepare the animal for surgery. I monitor patients under anesthesia and recover them from anesthesia. I also assist in emergency procedures, setting IV catheter, taking xrays, blood pressure, EKG, monitoring the critical care patient hourly.
