July 12, 2022 It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation on behalf of Sara Ramona Scott. I was a colleague and a supervisor during Mrs. Scott’s tenure at the New York City Department of Education. In addition, I served on the occupational therapy evaluation team with Mrs. Scott for several years. Since I have known her, she has demonstrated professionalism and responsibility in her position. Mrs. Scott has been an exemplary practitioner who cared deeply about her clients. She always completed her work on time, and her reports reflected the highest quality. Whenever I worked with her, I noted that her clinical reasoning was appropriate and on point. In addition to her regular treatment sessions, Mrs. Scott worked above and beyond what was required to research children’s medical conditions in order to provide best practice treatment. She possesses an excellent work ethic and solid clinical skills that will make her an excellent provider for patients/clients with various needs. I know Mrs. Scott to be a responsible, mature individual and would not hesitate to recommend her for a position in the field of occupational therapy. Sincerely, acoopersmithny@gmail.com

Sara Scott is an excellent colleague and dedicated to her job. She is knowledgeable about the field of occupational therapy, and has years of experience in academia. She is organized, detail-oriented, and above all caring of those she serves. She was an absolute pleasure to work with, and she taught me a great deal about working in academia and providing services to our students. She demonstrated in true occupational therapist fashion what it means to meet the needs of every individual we work with, meeting them at their level. Sara would meet with students, problem solve with other professors and clinical instructors, and work to find the best options for all of her students. I am thankful to have had her as a colleague.
