      Since I was a sophomore in college, I have been dedicated to organizing my own fundraisers in order to help fight against childhood cancer. I try and run one or two fundraisers on campus per semester. Through my experiences I have learned a lot about what it takes to fundraise for such an important cause such as organizational skills, meeting deadlines, self motivation, etc.; but furthermore I have found my passion.I have also used my public speaking class to give speeches on topics that relate to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital along with writing papers on the same subject matter for other classes.
