      The Roman Catholic Diocese of Raleigh comprises the 54 eastern counties of North Carolina, covering approximately 32,000 square miles and is under the direct supervision of the Bishop. The number of registered Catholics is 222,671, with an estimated 250,000 unregistered Hispanics. In addition to the Hispanic population, the Diocese has become home to an increasing number of Catholics from African and Asian countries. The Administrative Coordinator oversees the day to day running of both the Office of the Bishop and the Office of Vocations, including the supervision of daily administrative tasks as well as coordination of larger events. The Coordinator is also the primary contact for the Office of the Bishop and interacts on a daily basis with the offices of Catholic Bishops across the United States as well as the Apostolic Nuncio, the Holy Father's representative to the United States. Major responsibilities include: Maintaining a 5 year calendar for annual events, liturgies, meetings, etc that require the physical presence of the Bishop. Coordinating the logistics of domestic and international trips including Helsinki (2012), Brazil (2013), Poland (2016), Rome (multiple years). Assist the Bishop with administrative responsibilities associated with various outside boards and committees. Tasks include reviewing and preparing correspondence and papers, organizing meeting materials, completing meeting registrations, travel plans and itineraries, coordinating conference calls, etc. Serve as primary contact to the Diocesan Seminarians and applicants and assists them with various issues including insurance, check requests, safe environment, travel arrangements and correspondence between the seminary and the Diocese. Oversee the logistical planning of ordinations, retreats and other diocesan events.
