Represented Department at community meetings.Managed directors of Finance, Contracting, communications and Information Technology, representing 30+ FTE serving 325 staff, contracting agencies and community members. Restructured staff, improved customer service and increased visibility of internal services. Directed development of Department’s $120M+ budget. Advised Department director on budget strategy, balancing Mayor’s priorities, effective services and fiscal prudence. Defended budget before City Council. Spoke to media, community groups about Department strategies, Mayor's position on issues.
