Sara is a strong student and excellent thinker. She is able to use her vast experience in the classroom, add new knowledge and produce strong philosophy. Through this process Sara is able to discuss these ideas with others and have a profound effect on the tone of the classroom. She is a joy to have in class and shows deep understanding of educational philosophies in her application during her internship. Sara is a person who will succeed as an educational leader due to her intelligence, ability to develop relationships with all levels of learners, and her drive for excellence. I strongly support Sara in any educational work that she would undertake.

Member of an independent consulting group on utilization of textbook supplemental materials. This group was responsible for brainstorming a vision of the future of textbooks in an ever-growing electronic age. I introduced the idea of a portal site to this group, which they went on and developed. Subsequently hired as an independent consultant and given several tasks over the years from editing subject-specific textbooks, to creating supplemental materials/lessons for textbooks, as well as researching various ways to create online activities for created textbooks.
