I lead victim service policy and programming at the Office for Victims of Crime's (OVC) Human Trafficking Division. OVC manages almost 500 awards representing more than $325 million in funding, the largest amount of federal funds dedicated to providing services to survivors of human trafficking. Through policy analysis, program design and management, training and technical assistance oversight, and interagency coordination, I enhance the quality and quantity of services available to assist victims of all forms of human trafficking in the United States. I influenced internal policy deliberations and external dialogue through providing in-depth analysis on trafficking in persons trends to a variety of audiences, including senior officials. I conducted 41 country visits to monitor trends in these regions and improve relationships with anti-trafficking interlocutors, leveraging these relationships to assist foreign governments and civil society actors in developing policies in light of regional challenges and best practices.
