I have had the honor to work with Sara both as a peer and for the last three years, her direct manager. When Solum Lab closed and re-opened under Land O’Lakes, I had no question she and her talents would be an asset. She consistently strives to make quality processes and procedures more in depth, more accessible to all, and streamlined so they are easily followed. Sara was responsible for all things quality in relation to product implementation and process control; troubleshooting software, walking a new product through production from ordering to delivery, writing SOPs and JSAs to making sure we were holding up to our own high standards and those for potential ISO 17025 certification, for which she was working on the manual. Because Sara handled all these items, she took the initiative to become a leader whenever possible. She spent time with other team-members and seasonal staff to discuss practices, test hypothesis, and educate them on the importance of why, which enabled each of them to make better decisions based on standards of the business. This process had a visible positive impact on First Pass Yield rates within a quarter. She has been a constant go-to when things do not go as planned. Taking the time to deep dive, trouble-shoot and get to the root cause. I appreciate her willingness to ask the hard questions to come up with the best solutions. If ever given the opportunity I would have her on my team in a heartbeat. She is ready to move forward with her own team and make sure any business runs smoothly. Any company would be fortunate to have her.

It has been a great pleasure to work with Sara the past 5 years. As the head of the quality department, I was delighted and amazed at how quickly she picked up the principles and the tools needed to ensure that we were producing quality measurements. The speed at which she picked up SQL and data visualization software are examples of how fearless she is in learning new concepts and skills. Sara has an innate skill at seeing the possible failure modes in new processes and would be invaluable on any FMEA teams. Her integrity is beyond reproach and she is a strict adherent to process. Sara is an energetic young professional that would be an asset to any team.
