As one of the organization's Senior Managers of Conservation Strategies, I lead the technical conservation science staff, as part of our Conservation Consulting business. Through this segment of the organization, I support corporate members to achieve organizational sustainability targets for community impact, environmental responsibility, biodiversity, and resource conservation. I facilitate the development of strategies which allow an organization to execute sustainability activities and seek recognition for community investment and engagement programs. In order to advance tangible, practical, and technically sound conservation and biodiversity strategies, I engage external partners who can support the WHC mission and the those essential for members to deliver both business and community value. I develop and deliver environmental and conservation content to companies and partners in support of sustainability goals, community impact programs, and both formal and informal education. I serve as an organizational delegate to industry and supply chain groups, and from there create and influence frameworks for effective conservation project planning, implementation, maintenance, metrics, and recognition at scale.

Provided leadership and technical expertise for sustainable environmental performance across the company mining and cement manufacturing profile, including implementation of internal environmental policies, programs, and standards (EMS) while ensuring environmental compliance with all applicable federal, state and local regulations. Key accomplishments include: the development of a compliance risk road map for alternative fuel use across various regional footprints comprised of mining and manufacturing facilities; managing environmental permitting, management, and continuous compliance programs in 22 states and across 5 federal (EPA) regions; serving as US corporate liaison to a global biodiversity group, dedicated to advancing sustainable practices in the mining and land development segment of the business; and, supervised state and regional public relations and corporate social responsibility initiatives for all operations under my purview.
