Part of a Team that was responsible for recruiting over 800 people to work at the polls for the 2015 Bi-Election within a 3 week periodArea Manager responsible for 4 polling locations on Election Day on September 3rdAs Area Manager I had to make sure all people working at my polls were at their locations for 8:00 am, and set up was done by 8:45 to ensure polls were open at 9:00 am sharp. I also drove from location to location during the election making sure any issues were taken care of, supplies were delivered, and then at the end of the night all ballots were counted and balanced and all returned to the elections Ontario office.

I have worked in many aspects of Hospitality and Tourism here at Horseshoe Resort for 20 years. From teaching Skiing and Snowboarding, to Golf Course Maintenance, Golf Course Backshop, to Guest Services, HAC Desk, to now working in the Pro Shops: booking tee times, retail sales and guest relations and Ski School Desk: booking lessons and guest relations. In my 20 years experience in the hospitality industry I have become very adept at Guest Services and Relations, and in keeping with the high standards of a first class resort in Ontario.

Managing a Boardshop of this caliber was a very valuble experience. Located in the Intrawest Village of Blue Mountain, we saw a high range of clientele, from the first time snowboarder, skateboarder, kiteboarder to the avid. Dealing with customers, making sure correct product was stocked, staff relations, relations with staff from the resort and other stores was very important. On the inside my duties included :inventory, pricing, buying, finding new product to stock, payroll, scheduling a staff ranging from 5-15 people, opening and closing, balancing the till, keeping the store and stock organized and clean, store front displays and doing some local marketing.
