  - Actively performed research with Dr. Rachel Singer and Dr Sahotra Sarkar on a research project working to study and aid a neglected community in central Texas battling tropical intestinal parasitism.- Duties included studying and assisting to implement support in value-focused decision theory, translating and communicating scientific and medical information to the primarily Spanish-speaking community, working with civil engineers to determine best course of action, and a literature research component of similar cases in the past. - The research was translated into a paper published in the American Journal of Tropical Medicine & Hygiene, titled Prevalence on Intestinal Parasites in a Low-Income Texas Community.
