Montana Engagement Partnership has nothing to do with engagements and everything to do with conservation. The partnership is a coalition of four Montana non-profits; Montana Wilderness Association, Greater Yellowstone Coalition, League of Conservation Voters, and Montana Wildlife Federation. The purpose of Montana Engagement Coalition is to build support for protecting Montana's iconic landscapes, through mobilizing a cadre of conservation-minded decision-makers. As a canvasser, I engaged votes through both phone banking and door-to-door canvassing. Due to the diverse nature of the partnership, we were often working on different issues from week to week, which allowed me to really hone my speaking skills as well as expand my knowledge of conservation issues facing Montanans.
