She is creative, innovative, analytical and knows how to pull together an exciting, differentiated and commercial product assortment. Under Sara, the Gifts and Candles category saw tremendous growth. Many small brands discovered and sought out by Sara are now famous on the UK high street, and she also drove trade on our private label offering through seeking out new opportunities and discovering new product areas. I really learnt a lot from working from Sara, and she certainly supported me in my own development to Buyer. Through her strong focus on teamwork, partner development and including me on all aspects of the buying journey, I was able to learn from her experience and gain skills I would have otherwise not had exposure to.
