The project is part of the program developed by the Federal University of ABC (UFABC) in partnership with the Union of Nucleo, Associations of Residents of Heliópolis and Region (UNAS) with the theme: "Construction of the Scientific Observatory in Heliópolis - Observatory of social reality". The research, as well as the activities that will be developed, will contribute to the creation, development and strengthening of the Observatory, especially in the training of young researchers and in the socialization of knowledge with the school community in the region. The In-Country Extension Scholarship (EXP-C) is offered by the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) under the Workshop Aficionados in Software and Hardware (WASH) program, which aims to carry out non-formal educational activities of scientific initiation, aiming at social inclusion and the popularization of science and technology for students in elementary school, with the participation of technical, high school and undergraduate students, mainly from the public network. This proposal makes it possible that, while training, studying and carrying out theoretical and field work, the researchers get to know better the reality in which they are inserted, developing themselves as agents of transformation of reality based on a reflexive social practice. 1st place in the selection process for the master's degree, researcher with exclusive dedication with CAPES scholarship. Teaching intern in the disciplines of Demography and Human Inequality and Urban Poverty. The master's research aimed to promote an interdisciplinary analysis of world political economy, demography, and environmental problems. The work starts from the assumption that contemporary environmental changes and climate imbalances are associated with the activities of human society, mainly based on its way of life and the prevailing economic and social processes. Based on this idea, the research aims to understand the processes of forced displacement due to environmental changes, one of the main consequences of these dynamics. This work is interdisciplinary because it connects environmental problems to the agenda of the humanities and social sciences, and also promotes an interaction between areas of the humanities and social sciences themselves. Keywords: demographic dynamics, Anthropocene, displacement/migration, environmental change. This research has been presented in Mexico and the United States, as well as in Poços de Caldas, Campinas, and São Paulo. Scientific initiation is one of the first experiences for a student researcher. In this opportunity I was a scholarship student at the university and researched the project "Social Segregation in Brazilian Consumer Society: The Rolezinhos Case". The intention of the project was to do a comparative analysis between social processes of consumption in Brazil (Rolezinhos), the United States (Flashmobs in Texas) and England in the 1950s (Mods and Rockers). This parallel was made through the theoretical contribution of the Consumer Society by Zygmunt Bauman, Jean Braudillard, among others. Show less
