I have had the pleasure of teaching Saquib Rahman for a semester in 2012. In my Legal Research and Methodology course, he had to write two papers of around 3,000 and 7,000 words. In both the papers, he has shown the ability to work independently and some degree of creativity which I think amply demonstrated his potential for producing high-quality research work. His presentation on the research topic was also quite good and thought-provoking. I have had the pleasure of reading his academic papers and although they are beyond my areas of speciality, it seemed to be they are of good quality and I am aware that at least one of them is an internationally acclaimed journal. I also have read a number of his write-ups on law and other issues in national newspapers and they are of very good standard. It is an immense pleasure to see him progressing in the academia.
