Auckland, New Zealand We assess the properties, the leads which are generated by the ambassador and advisor teams. We do solar rooftop assessment to find out if roofs and home owners qualify for our services. The minimum requirements are that the customer must be paying more than $120 on a monthly average annually for electricity only (gas price, internet, etc. not included in this 120) and for only electric customers with no gas consumption at all, the same threshold is $100. The second criteria is that by having a look at the property, roof space, powerbill, rates, consumption, graphs, etc. we evaluate whether we can reduce the customer's electricity consumption from the grid by at least 2-thirds, or 60-70%, which depends on the quality of the roof, its space, angle, alignment, shading, roof-type, etc. determining what panel size system we are able to fit on top of the roof. The basic idea is to find out that at any given time, even during peak hours and peak days and peak months of highest grid consumption annually, are we able to provide our customer with at least 60% of the electrical energy requirements and no more than 40% of the total power used by the customer is taken from the grid at any given point in time. We then evaluate a suitable subscription fee which remains constant throughout the contract duration of the customer which covers this 40% electricity cost from the grid as well! Based on these we design roof-top panel drawings and calculate the power savings for our customers. During Summers when the sun is up till 9 pm, we provide our customers will almost double the export rate (15c/kwh) as compared to the 8c/kwh thereby helping them earn profits especially if they are on vacations during those times. Contact me if you need any further clarifications about our service and if you want save your powerbills and most importantly, if you care about the environment, a better, greener and more sustainable tomorrow!

Auckland Transport is one of the five Auckland Council Organisations (ACOs). Purpose: Easy Journeys. Connecting people and communities Promise: Our Customers. Our Communities. Our People. Our partners. Values: Better, bolder, together. We connect. Safe with us. We care. Staff numbers ca. 1,700 (for comparison, council total is 11,300). Project Scope: AT is developing an Environment Action Plan to identify our environment related goals, objectives, and targets. We have 5 key areas that we want to measure improvements in as a result of changes to how we manage the transport network: one of these is looking at how the transport network contributes or could contribute to the green network in Auckland. The green network includes all of Auckland’s parks and reserves. This is important because it provides habitats for bird and bugs, shading/cooling/heat stress reduction, and improves air quality. AT is keen to see the road network become part of the green network. Focussing on the road network, the objective of this project is to identify a suitable way of measuring how the road network contributes to the green network (or could contribute if we did it better). What can AT do in the road corridor to improve the green network and what can AT track to demonstrate progress? Key Achievements: 1) We were able to find the transportation network enhancement methods to suffice the current immigration rates; 2) We were able to learn from examples of other countries wherein they were able to expand their roadways and railways by causing minimal damage to the environment; 3) We found out solutions which can be implemented on existing structures as a retro-fit like permeable pavements and various methods of how to provide pathways for creatures and not block them in their natural routes.
