      Under my command i had two U/G mines namely Narayan U/G & Jamuna 9/10 U/G mine.At Jamuna 9/10 U/G mine 4 low height LHD's were introduced for underground coal production for the first time in the Sub Area and successfully surpassed the coal production targets for the tenure.i was also involved in the colonial development of the Bhadra Sub Area which has been appreciated by the residents of the Sub area.

      As S.O.M at Thesgora U/G degree 2 Mine(1998-2002) my responsibilities included production, safety, planning & control management. Under my command the mine increased the production, which resulted in project closure of the mine from capital to revenue.During the time period of 2004-08 i was posted at Sillewara U/G mine which is one of the oldest and largest U/G mine in the country with highly steeped gradient working. The prime responsibilities here along with the previously mentioned was the extraction of coal with sand stowing. During the same period 1 coal dispatch Railway siding was also under my command which has further enhanced my working experience.

      As Area Planning Officer at Umrer Area i was assigned for the land acquisition of Umrer OCM which almost came to a standstill due to non availability of land for diversion of Aam River which was coming across the mine progress direction.The land required for Aam River diversion was acquired in my tenure under the emergency clause in the record period of 1 year & 3 months from application to award/payment which is considered to be the fastest land acquisition in Coal India's history.Under this task i coordinated with no. of agencies such as Maharashtra State Govt., PWD Nagpur, PHE Nagpur, Irrigation Deptt Nagpur, Maharashtra State Electricity Board, P&T Deptt. Nagpur, State Highway Deptt. Nagpur, Central Design Office Nasik & Collectorate Nagpur to finish the acquisition in the record time.As Staff Officer Mining it was required to float NIT(Notice Inviting Tenders) & finalize the tenders for coal transportation, over burden transportation & other underground works upto a value of 50 Lakhs including the introduction of website tendering process. responsibility also included to complete all the post tendering formalities like issue of work orders, preparation of agreement & monitoring the execution of the work for the tenders which were floated from Contract Management Cell of the Co headquarters.
