End of life (EOL) Program: Dell Technologies Initiative to optimize the portfolio of IT infrastructure by removing redundant physical assets, applications and virtual machines. Business benefits of the program include infrastructure cost optimization, legal compliance and security. As a Senior Advisor for the End Of Life (EOL) project, I oversaw the entire scope of the SAP infrastructure landscape, I was responsible for coordinating with cross functional teams to ensure SAP has compliant and robust infrastructure to support business. • Responsible to drive the EOL program for the SAP Platform. • Achieved goal of rationalizing 1900 + servers in SAP landscape ahead of plan, by ensuring regular communication with key stake holders. • Drove the weekly IER (Issues, Escalations & Resolutions) calls to remove any roadblocks. • Identified over 7.5 million vulnerabilities and brought them down to less than 70,000 by OS patching, disassociation of assets and decommission of redundant assets. • Built relationships with key stake holders and initiated process improvements to bring down turn around time. • Facilitate dialogue with key stake holders and application teams to resolve complex issues. • Run weekly reports to check the overall health of the program and address issues as required. • SAP Platform received ‘call out’ for being ‘Green’ consistently through the program. • Created process flows to initiate process improvements and automation.
