In the new position I maintained the tasks I had as Assistant to the Director: drafting projects' bids; conducted technology scouting services for POINT; worked on department surveys; development of the IASP new website; etc.I was responsible for the implementation of two projects: - WIDER (green groWing of SMEs: Innovation and Development in the energy sector in the mEd aRea). I was responsible for developing the networking strategy of the project, during the lifetime of the project and after the EU funding period; the organisation of the first WIDER Innovation Fair in Barcelona in 2013 (report available at http://www.wider-project.eu/pdf/WIDER-Innovation-Fair-Report-Barcelona-(C5-2).pdf) and the First EU Level Road Show with representatives from fifteen EU institutions and networks. - GROW International (Supporting the Development of Skills for SMEs Internationalisation). I was responsible for the development of the communication and exploitation plan of the project. This included all communication materials; development of the project website (www.training2grow.eu); presence in social networks such as Twitter or LinkedIn; and publication of news clippings about the project. I had an active participation in the drafting of project's bid proposals for EU subsidies related to science and technology park development, innovation-related networking strategies and the training and internationalisation of SMEs. I was involved in projects at European level such as: - SUMMIT (Business Incubator Management Training Institute) - ViPiA (Virtual Pre-Incubation Accelerator) - EurOffice Services - INCONET-GCC (Science and Technology International Cooperation Network for Gulf Cooperation Countries Aiming at the Promotion of Bi-regional Dialogue).I was responsible for the analysis of the IASP website, the development of the technical requirements and specifications of a new portal and the relations with the web developers.I assisted the IASP team with the IASP POINT Service, an international technology scouting.I worked in the preparation of surveys, collection of data and its analysis to product reports about the situation of the science and technology park industry. In this position, I assisted in the organisation of six IASP World Conferences and IASP Pre-conference workshops on "Fundamentals of Science Park Management" and in the organisation of four IASP European Division Workshops on hot topics for science park professionals. I was also responsible for conducting post-event surveys and elaborating the reports. Other tasks included the communication to members on day-to-day enquiries and services provided by the Association. I assisted the Director of the department on the drafting of the communication strategies and with mass media contact and relations.
