 Develops work schedules for site personnel to support missions, conduct routine inspections of ranges and training apparatuses, and perform required maintenance based on training, testing, and mission schedules in CSE. Oversight of day-to-day activities/personnel involved with conducting required inspections of the Test/Training Ranges at Eglin AFB, test support requirements, and maintenance of infrastructure and grounds located at the Test/Training Ranges. Work directly with the customer to ensure adequate safeguards and criteria are always met and to interface with the training unit’s OIC/NCOIC and testing missions POCs to discuss training/testing schedules/activities.

Unexploded Ordnance Technician III & Senior Range Inspector

 Developed and implemented the AFSOC training range inspection program on the 724sq/mi Eglin Range Complex. Supervise and mentor four range inspectors with our mission to maintain serviceability & safety of AFSOC training ranges infrastructure within the primary training venues by performing fire and safety hazard inspections, providing access to secured government-provided buildings/ranges, and reporting daily missions of AFSOC/7th SFG/6th Rangers. Assisted with running the Training Range Inspection, Maintenance, and Control program for about six months while our acting supervisor took an administrative leave of absence from his functions. Located and removed hazardous unexploded ordnance, the remains of live/inert ordnance items, targets, structures, and other debris on the Eglin range complex. Responsible for locating, identifying, collecting, and transporting range unexploded ordnance and residue to designated holding areas, accomplishing necessary demilitarization, and certifying material is free of explosive residue.

Explosive Safety Specialist

 Explosive Safety Specialist for the FBI TEDAC (Terrorist Explosive Device Analytical Center) laboratories. Supervised the receipt, preparation, storage, and transport of Class V explosives for use on the ranges. Ensured incoming packages and devices were not hazardous and free from volatile explosives. Coordinates with contributors, laboratory examiners, and others in prioritizing examinations and submissions in support of the TEDAC mission and suggests possible comparisons for further forensic investigations. Supervised training and trained 23 TEDAC employees on X-ray equipment and provided EOD best practices to identify hazardous materials properly.
