An independent research work based on multivariate forecasting of network of timeseries under the mentorship of Dr. Avleen S. Bijral, Applied Researcher at Microsoft US. Details of the project progress: • Exploring and analyzing grocery store time series data from Kaggle. • Quantifying item correlations at store level towards constructing an item-item network. • Implemented an encoder-decoder GRU model to forecast item-wise sales of next three months. • Future goals include formalizing a principled way of incorporating network structure in these models to get better results, evaluating method on several real world time series collections and writing a research paper on the same. It is a performance based internship which could be extended for three months based on the performance in first month. Show less

A research based internship which aims to achieve Automated Checkpointing of containers for Live Migration in Distributed Systems under the guidance and directions of Prof. Anil Kumar Gupta (Associate Director at CDAC, Pune). Research work in detail: • Implemented and analysed the benefits and limitations of check-pointing using DMTCP package in Linux. • Implemented check-pointing of docker and podman containers using CRIU. • Working with various flavours of Linux to resolve and identify kernel and OS versions compatibility issues. • Copyrighted our ideation theory with a block diagram and flowchart. • Completed writing a Book Chapter, Titled, "LIVE MIGRATION in HPC" in book "Call for Book Chapters: Cybersecurity & High-PerformanceComputing Environments: Integrated Innovations, Practices, and Applications" CRC PRESS Taylor & Francis. (currently, under review) • Successfully automated check pointing, sending and restoring a simple counter program between two docker containers based on their CPU utilizations using a central control daemon.
