The research at Koninklijke de Vries Scheepsbouw (part of Feadship) gave insight into the current-state building process of the yachts and material flows by using a newly self-created method. The secondary goal was to provide the shipyard with opportunities for yard layout improvements that increase the efficiency of the building processes within the shipyard. The end result is that the Shipyard will implement several proposals to increase the shipyard's efficiency and enable future growth.
