Sanna Suvi was established during my self-employed placement year in 2018. I design and create colourful knitwear pieces that are suitable for people with sensitive skin. Each one is handmade by me and my '70s knitting machine. I am responsible for the production from initial ideas to finishing touches, as well as creating content for my website and social media accounts. In 2020, I collaborated with Lucy&Yak to release a limited-edition capsule collection to celebrate the diversity of vulvas and to raise awareness about cervical cancer. Around this time I also collaborated with Bodyform and created "The Fanny Square Cardigan" for their Designer Vagina campaign to raise awareness of the rise in demand for labiaplasty surgeries. As a freelance creative, I create character design, illustrations, and technical drawings using Procreate and Adobe software.

My role consists of making alterations and customisations to a high standard with tight time-frames, whilst staying true to the values of Levi's. These include hem shortenings, rips and repairs, customisations and anything in between. In my role I get to train new talent for the stores in the South of England, responding to my District Manager. When working in the store I support visual merchandise tasks and work as a stylist to offer advice and guidance to anyone hoping to find their perfect pair of jeans.

Pie&Vinyl combines the atmosphere of a quirky cafe and the cosiness of a record shop. My day-to-day tasks consisted of taking and fulfilling orders, restocking the kitchen and shop floor as well as making beautiful pie dishes and hearty coffees. Following health and safety guidelines was the number one priority as well as offering great customer service. Pie&Vinyl combines the atmosphere of a quirky cafe and the cosiness of a record shop.
