Circuit QED setups have now emerged as one of the prime candidates to build quantum computers. My particular focus was in the theory and simulation of light-matter interaction at microwave frequencies. This included research projects such as proposal for non-destructive microwave single photon detector and on-demand single photon sources. These and other projects were done in close collaboration with experimental groups. The results were presented at conferences.
