Sanjay is an effective leader with GM expertise. I have known Sanjay since 1998 and my context of Sanjay's skills and achievements are two fold: First, Sanjay reported to me between 1998 to 2001 while we were both at Cisco Systems. Sanjay provided the vision, strategy and crafted the business plan for growing the Cisco 12000 platform into the Data Center markets. Sanjay's execution efforts resulted in growing the top line over 5x while maximizing operating margins and market share. Sanjay was held accountable for the P&L and led the team responsible for managing all business operations including revenue/market share growth, pricing/margin management, product life-cycle management, managing key customer relationships, allocating R&D resources and operations. The products were extremely successful and achieved a global footprint at major telecom operators and large enterprise customers. My second context of working with Sanjay was during 2004 when he was incubating and raising VC financing for Tarini Networks. I represented my partnership in offering him a term-sheet after several months of due diligence on the company and its strategy. Sanjay is a capable leader with demonstrated P&L and general management skills. I am happy to endorse him
Tom Schauerman
Sanjay presented a detailed management presentation of the Identity Systems business, with a focus on both the existing core products of the Company and the plan to evolve into a more robust and larger market opportunity product line by both developing the new software necessary and cross-selling to existing customers. Sanjay was very effective at presenting the business plan and creating positive expectations for the business going forward. We were hoping to work with Sanjay as leader of the Identity Systems business, and I would endorse him in the CEO role.
