Cancer Kids First (CKF) is a nonprofit organization with chapters all over the world, one of them being the central jersey chapter. This organization focuses on pediatric cancer patients by allowing them to experience a better childhood through normalizing the hospital environment and motivating patients to keep fighting! As a member, I take part in pitching project ideas as well as carrying them out, and as treasurer I take care of and manage the club's funds. Managed advertising and promotion for the Global Stem Youth Journal (GSYJ), which primarily focuses on making information and education in the STEM fields more accessible all around the world, with members from more than 15 countries. My work mainly consisted of connecting with and reaching out to other organizations to expand GSYJ's outreach and viewer base, as well as promoting new articles as they were published, and managing the journal's social media with the goal of reaching a new number of readers/subscribers monthly.
