After taking a break from her career to take care of her daughter, Sangita returned to the work force as an intern working for me at the OAG on the TXCSES 2.0 project. She quickly got back into the groove! She was very quick to learn the processes in place for monitoring and reporting on status, including the earned value techniques. She took the initiative to identify and implement process improvements. She was very dependable. I enjoyed working with her and getting to know her.

There just aren't words adequate enough to express my gratitude to Sangita. The moment we needed someone most, she stepped into the volunteer role of Director of Projects for Leap to Success (LTS), the signature program of Launch Pad Job Club, which provides pro bono, short-term, professional projects assistance to other Austin and Central Texas nonprofits with volunteers from the club. She has overseen our PMO with an average of 10 projects at any given time. Her volunteer time has been spent: - attending project kickoff meetings between each client and LTS team - reviewing all projects weekly via our SharePoint reporting database - running the weekly meeting of the PM's to review projects in person and address any issues that may have arisen since the last meeting - in direct outreach to each PM to ensure they are on track with their projects and have all the necessary documents to run their projects smoothly - keeping on top of all projects to ensure each is seen to completion and the final deliverable is officially accepted by the grateful client. I will be bereft when Sangita leaves us for gainful employment as I can't imagine another volunteer stepping into the role with such grace and professionalism. I will, however, commend the smart company that snaps her up and has her leading her own team.
