Sangita was in my category management team at The Better India's e-commerce foray. She is not just a very hardworking person, but an extremely compassionate, humane and caring individual who makes human connections that last a lifetime. This is a hugely underrated attribute, but something that makes Sangita stand out and one of her biggest professional strengths as well. She's able to reach out to people very quickly because she has built such a vast network and is great with relationships with vendors, clients, team members - everyone. I would highly recommend Sangita, and she is an asset to any company she joins.

In addition to being an excellent team player and highly dependable, Sangita has constructed and maintained a diverse and comprehensive network of hand-loom weavers and craftsmen across the South Indian belt. I have witnessed her grow into The Product Development Lead (Textiles) at Fabindia, Bangalore Hub. Sangita actively collaborated with the merchandising teams to develop a diverse range of Handloom Home Textiles as well as Garment Accessories (including Sarees & Stoles) and was instrumental in the significant growth of business in these areas.
