I report to the Executive Vice President of International Operations and accountable for Developing and Leading Business Growth across all countries and for total 3M portfolio at the EVP's discretion. Specific geographic regions are prioritized by the EVP for "outside in" holistic transformation based on their current performance with a strong objective of accelerating profitable growth and achieving the best in class results for that Region when benchmarked with similar country clusters globally. Areas of focus for strengthening an organization would be subsidiary wide, and would include total portfolio prioritization and redeployment of resources, rebuilding the leadership team with a growth mindset, with due focus on matching leadership appointments with prior experience in culture, language and geographic area customs (often ignored by many Multinational Companies, expanding geographic penetration through subdividing large countries creatively with front and back end organization redesign, exploring innovative ways to market through channel realignment, direct selling models, maximizing e Commerce deployment in both B to C and B to B segments, creating new local for local technology platforms aligned with country megatrends, transforming supply chain and overall developing a human capital plan to locally create the process and resource capability to sustain the changes instituted. Dedicated use of Six Sigma and Business Execution Processes (BEP) used throughout every project for tracking the vital few critical X's with regular operating rhythm by Country Management, Area and International Operating Committee Gate Reviews. I have traveled to sixty four countries during last twenty three years, the only Geography not covered being Central Africa. Show less
