  I manage the academic calendars of Division 1 athletes, focusing on English and rhetoric. One of my main tasks employs my technical writing skills: I rewrite syllabi and assignment prompts to a more user-friendly language, 'translating' what some professors put in higher-ed language the student is not yet accustomed to -- into more understandable instructions and explanations.
