  Manages the maintenance, upgrade and fielding of all Logistical Information Systems for a Brigade of 3,000 personnel. Manages the wireless tactical network that allows each team to ftp their data updates to the main server database. Provides support and training to five support teams on security standards and compliance requirements when operating their respective system. Tracks the emerging requirements for the nine different LIS that orders and tracks all parts and equipment, inputs and tracks medical data, orders ammunition for training, fulfills the transportation requirements for the organization, and provides battlefield information to commanders in the field. Coordinates with higher level maintenance teams for support and works with them when ordering replacement parts for damaged items that makes the equipment non-mission capable.

  I started off as a programmer. Next I was a Network Administrator in Bad Aibling Germany. I was responsible for the maintenance, upgrade and troubleshooting of over 300 systems, throughout the entire installation, on an unclassified network. I also managed personnel who conducted duties in a Top Secret facility as their Platoon Sergeant. Next, I performed duties as a supervisor at the Pentagon for the following areas in a four year span: Global Status of Reporting Training Systems, Joint Operations Support Center, and Communications Watch Office. Next, I moved to Fort McPherson Georgia where I was the supervisor for the Joint Multi-National Division where we monitored Blue Force Tracking feeds of personnel on the battlefield. Afterwards, I moved to Korea where I was the Supervisor managing all operations occurring in a $20M facility. I also managed all security badges coming in and out of the facility as well as physical and personnel security measures. Next, I deployed to Afghanistan with 4th BDE SBCT and performed duties as an Operations Supervisor, Training Manager, and scheduler of activities that impacted the lives of over 600 personnel. I am now the Supervisor of the Sustainment Automation Branch where we manage over nine Logistical Information Systems that deal with medical tracking, equipment and parts ordering, and ammunition tracking and order, to name a few.



702nd Brigade Support Battalion

  Managed and tracked all convoy operations conducting resupply and retrograde operations throughout the Brigade's Area of Operation. Reviewed all incoming Operation Orders, Warning Orders, and tasks to the command. Coordinated with higher headquarters on current orders and the status of all assigned tasks. Disseminated information critical to current operations, enemy intelligence, and personnel accountability. Scheduled technical and tactical training that enhanced the readiness and competency of over 600 personnel. Planned and implemented competitions that enhanced the growth and career progression of all Soldiers. Managed the access of personnel into the Tactical Operations Center and ensured strict adherence to all security policies. Provided rehearsals that prepared all Battalion elements on the security of their respective area of operation.

  I was the Operations NCOIC for the Korean - TNOSC in Daegu South Korea. I managed all tasking and orders from higher that impacted the facility. Assisted management on the development of custom security solutions when necessary to meet business requirements. Updated and modified all SOP's dealing with physical and personnel security measures resulting in the facility passing all inspections. Managed the installment of new security locks for tighter controls. Managed the entry and exit of all visiting personnel. I also scheduled training that resulted in personnel becoming certified in Network+, Security + and Windows 7. Coordinated with third parties to perform vulnerability tests and create security authorization agreements and standards that resulted in the organization winning Facility of the Year for 2011. Managed the turn-in of unused and unserviceable equipment. Coordinated the relocation of operational and mission-essential automation equipment that was at risk of being damaged by water. Performed duties as the K-TNOSC SGM. Ensured that all counseling's, awards, and evaluations were done correctly and met the suspense from higher. Coordinated with outside agencies to provide training on suicide prevention, resiliency, budgeting, SAEDA, and Operational Security.

  Supervised the development, administration, and maintenance of the organization's SharePoint portal websites, databases, Joint Battle Command Systems and functional multi-user information systems. Ensured the availability of the instructors and the resources needed to support major training exercises and train personnel on that respective Army Battle Command System. Managed 40 personnel conducting operations in Atlanta and Kuwait. Ensured that personnel accurately monitored the Blue Force Tracking feeds that provided a Common Operational Picture to organizations at Army, Corps, and Brigade Combat Team levels. Managed the deployment of personnel conducting multiple operations in Kuwait and during major training exercises. Ensured that team identified the software and hardware requirements needed for fielding of all mission essential Battle Command Systems. Performed duties as the Security Manager for the section. Ensured that the team provided technical support and governmental guidance to Integrators and Administrators worldwide. Scheduled the maintenance of all audio and visual communications devices used to conducted informational forums between the Higher Level Leaders and their subordinate leaders.

Implemented and documented formal security programs and policies used to prevent the vulnerability and lapse in the performance of all critical systems. Performed duties as a technical and functional database manager for the Joint Operations Planning and Execution System (JOPES). Managed 16 database sites by ensuring the integrity and availability of critical planning data for leaders conducting operations worldwide. Performed duties as the Global Status of Resources and Training Systems (GSORTS) Analyst. Provided support to 32 GSORTS sites during major upgrades and the routing of messages that impacted over 1,500 users worldwide. Performed duties as the Communications Watch Office NCOIC for a team who provided support to the President, SECDEF, and Joint Chief of Staff. Maintained and operated five satellite ground terminals, seven national level emergency voice systems, two missile warning systems, two Washington High Speed Facsimile Systems and a classified video teleconferencing system. Monitored over 800 communication circuits supporting the Joint Staff Directorate and tracked the trouble ticket status of all circuits that were inoperable or down for maintenance.
