Accelerator Physicist for the project FCC-ee
-
Feb 2015 - Feb 2018
CERN is the leading research facility for high energy physics and the Future Circular Collider (FCC) is a possible project as a next step for future discovery. Taking part of the concept design of the particle accelerator FCC-ee, I was responsible of the statistical beam dynamics performance simulations under magnetic errors, which is one of the most important issue of the machine . I performed software development in Python to create an algorithm, which includes convergence and analysis methods (such as SVD, regression) to predict and successfully achieve the optimal performance of the accelerator. I was as well responsible for the large flow of data coming out of the statistical simulations, for which I developed Python packages that structure and analyse the data using data mining technics. International collaboration // Presentation of my results in conferences and workshops. - Modélisation des tolérances mécaniques et magnétiques pour la dynamique faisceau d’un accélérateur de 100km - Développement et optimisation d’outils de correction basés sur des algorithmes tel que SVD (Single Value Decomposition) Show less
