Oversaw development of a toolkit with educational handouts, event planning checklists, mental health presentation, sample evaluation forms, and promotional materials to help community organizations host events. * Served as deputy director for a multiyear contract with the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) to support expansion of the Community Health Worker Health Disparities Initiative. Led development of tools, resources, and materials to support outreach and education around heart health specifically targeting Latino and Vietnamese populations and engaged partners to plan regional trainings. * Directed a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) funded project, Project ACHIEVE, which supported community interventions focused on implementing policy, systems, and environmental (PSE) strategies to reduce chronic disease disparities. Contracted by the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) to evaluate NACCHO-funded communities.

Coordinated day-to-day research activities for Starting Early Starting Smart (SESS) Project, funded by SAMHSA and Casey Family Programs. This was part of multi-site research project studying the effects of providing integrated behavioral health services (mental health and substance abuse prevention and treatment) in community-based setting to at-risk mothers. Supervised recruitment of research participants and coordination of data collection efforts. Worked with research staff and study participants to coordinate follow-up research visits. Conducted hundreds of research interviews in English and Spanish with study participants at Boston Medical Center, which represented the ethnically and racially diverse communities receiving their care at Boston Medical.
