Worked with a strong team within the production department as a Sample C oordintor building relationships with design, pattern room, buying department and factories. As sample Coordinator i was responsible for consolidating samples packs to be sent out to factories, and ensured that construction and instructions were clear and correct. Chased samples to ensure that they back for required dates as per the critical path. Measured samples/sealers against the specifications sheet and reported back to the factories as necessary. Co-ordinated the receipt of production samples to ensure they were received in good time and inspected prior to being sent to the Buying team. This entailed liaising with factories and quality controllers and working from a 'Sample Due' list. Show less
