Working with the Knowledge Services Group, I was responsible for design and development of functionality for The Knowledge Network – www.knowledge.scot.nhs.uk, and family of related online services, line-managing a team of up to 5 persons and working closely with contracted software companies. These national services aim to support NHS Scotland staff access relevant information and knowledge to support practice, professional development and information sharing.I lead on requirements analysis to support all aspects of the online services, providing business analysis and project-management for various development projects, acting as the bridge between system users and the development team, providing me with excellent experience and understanding of the software development lifecycle from requirements analysis to user acceptance testing, and project management approaches, including Agile methodology.
