Worked on a three month project of isolating and optimizing a sensor to track AMPK activity in neurons, as well as establishing a role of AMPK in Ca2+ dependent translation response seen in APOE4 treatment. APOE4 is the most common and well characterized risk factor for sporadic Alzheimer's disease which accounts for >95% of AD cases.
