  As a Social Services Representative, I employ my organizational and time management skills to manage caseloads of individuals in various levels of addiction or mental illness treatment.   As a mental health technician, I received on hand experience with individuals in a psychiatric treatment setting. I was tasked to monitor at risk patients and intervene with them when necessary by utilizing interpersonal crisis management skills. I also worked as a staff to client liaison to make sure clients were in the proper setting at all times. I often taught classes on a range of subjects including anger, goal setting, the disease model of addiction and etc. In this position, I learned medical skills such as basic vital sign checks and venipuncture as well.
