  Tasked with a project of optimizing a UAV fuel tank for cost and mass production. The scope of the work undertaken involved evaluating UAV fuel compatible materials, determining tank mass based on extreme UAV manoeuvring loads accounting for mechanical properties of the tank material at the highest operating temperature. tank mass and cost of material were used to select the optimum material.
