While working at D’Andrea and Evers, Sander participated in the development of the Hemics HandScan as lead industrial designer. I was impressed by the creativity and pragmatic approach that Sander demonstrated during the design concept phase while brainstorming with Hemics on brand image and design directions. In an efficient way he guided us from a broad exploration of mood boards and design opportunities to a preferred design concept. In the following development phase Sander showed his technical and project management skills when he was responsible for the detailed design of the device exterior and patient and operator interfaces, defining the look-and-feel of the HandScan. The resulting design is highly appreciated by patients, physicians, and Hemics. I recommend working with Sander if you are looking for an experienced, no-nonsense industrial designer who can add significant value to your product.
